The Honda CB150X Custom Blue is the only bike of its kind on the island. The base is standard: Honda’s frame and 149cc engine with 14 HP, six-speed manual gearbox. Everything you see on the outside, though, is a one-off: full custom bodywork, bright-blue paint, a tall touring windscreen and gold upside-down forks. It rides like a regular CB150X and looks like nothing else on Bali’s roads.
The riding position is upright and relaxed and the bike is light — the easiest way to cover real distance across the island without a big machine. The screen takes the wind off your chest on the bypass, the long-travel suspension soaks up broken village roads, and the gearbox forgives a beginner’s mistakes. The engine is an honest 150: fine two-up around town, unhurried on long climbs.
It suits riders who want a touring position for a week of exploring — Ubud, Sidemen, the north coast — and who want the bike to look the part. A good first manual motorcycle: if you have never used a clutch, we show you the basics at handover, free of charge. There is no ABS, so brake early in the rain. Two-up is fine in town and on short trips; for long days with luggage a 250–500cc bike is the better pick.
